Weekly Bingo in the Lion's Club Hall.  Doors open at 6PM. This is a chip bingo, no dauber required. There are 15 regular games and 6 specials. The jackpot starts at 50 numbers and the numbers go up each week until a bingo is won. Jackpot prize is $250. Consolation prize is $25.

CATCH THE ACE progressive raffle lottery is dependent on ticket sales.  There is a weekly cash prize plus a chance to win the main jackpot.  A draw is made at 7:30pm every Friday evening in the Legion club room.  Tickets are only $5.00 at the Legion and can be purchased daily during regular Legion hours.  
October 19, a ticket belonging to Liz Cobb was selected, Liz did not find the Ace of Spades but won $37 for having the ticket selected.  Her lucky # was 7.

looking for volunteers to help plant a healthy buffer of native trees and shrubs on several properties in the Muskrat Lake watershed. Sip and Sign at the Cobden Curling Club, 43 Astrolabe Road, Cobden. Instructed by Heather Corrigan of Out of the Woods Foresters Falls. There are over 200 stencils to choose from, the choices are endless or create a custom sign (for an additional fee). Hey everyone, Cobden Pentecostal Church will be hosting a
"Trunk or Treat" this October 31st! Our children's program volunteers will be decorating their cars and filling their trunks with candy bags, and kids of all ages are welcome to come and help themselves. We'll also have free hot beverages for kids and adults alike! Drop in for a few minutes while trick-or-treating that night anytime from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  All are welcome!

Community Bonspiel will be held at the Cobden Curling Club. This is a great opportunity for anyone in the community, experienced or not, to curl and participate in a social & entertaining time. Three games will be played over the three day event and includes a catered supper on Saturday November 3, all for a cost of $25/person. Tickets for supper only are $15/person. This Renfrew Hospice monthly peer support drop in program provides an immediate opportunity to connect and share with others who are journeying through the wilderness of grief.
